Donna was formerly Partner at the top tier ranking Nigerian Law Firm of Adepetun, Caxton-Martins, Agbor & Segun which recently merged with Dentons (Dentons-ACAS Law Firm) where she worked for 19 years as an Oil and Gas Law expert and was formerly the Head of its Business Development Unit.
Donna trained and qualified in Nigeria and has gained an enviable reputation as the go-to legal expert for Nigerian Oil and Gas projects earning for herself over 15 international highly sought after rankings and awards from Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, IFLR 1000 and Women’s Energy Council to mention a few in which she has been acknowledged widely for her strategic approach to projects, win-win negotiation skills, techninal expertise, industry acknowledgement within the Nigerian oil and gas market and her in-depth knowledge of, and capacities in, complex transactions and regulatory complaince.
Her extensive work in high level oil and gas asset acquisitions and divestments in particular has given her a global reach, working with multinational corporations and independents in Nigeria, The United Kingdom, Canada, The United States of America, France, Buenos Aires, China, India, Italy and Singapore on cross-border and national-based upstream and corporate commercial projects.
She recently moved to London and has been appointed as a Consultant to NPL Legal on Africa-focused energy projects bringing with her over 20 years of experience.
